A Specialist for the Specialized Trading Operations team within Charles Schwab Trust Bank will work with various internal and external business partners to facilitate specialized trading on behalf of retirement plans, as well as reviewing and processing fund additions to our trading platform. This role provides the opportunity to innovate, streamline processes, and reduce risk while supporting multiple key business partners. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both attention to detail and thinking in an unexpected way are a must. Candidates will need to communicate effectively within a team environment.

What you are good at:

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships both within the department and across organizations/enterprises• Identify process improvements that lead to improved efficiencies and a greater business partner and client experience• Uses knowledge of functional area to assist team with strategy and process development

What you have

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Retirement industry experience required, with an emphasis on Trading Operations
  • Working knowledge of equity, ETF and alternative investment trading
  • Knowledge of unitization services
  • Knowledge of mutual fund contracts and security masters
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated analytical skills that include the ability to research and resolve issues tocompletion
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
