CTG is seeking to fill a Trading Systems Business Analyst position for our client.
Location: Piscataway, NJ
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Analyze and document trading system requirements, workflows, and front-to-back trade lifecycle processes.
Support trade capture, pricing, position management, and trading operations.
Partner with traders, quants, developers, risk managers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and solutions.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test execution, defect resolution, and release validation.
Provide production support for pricing breaks, connectivity issues, booking discrepancies, and trading system incidents.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and production releases.
Skills:
Trading systems and capital markets domain knowledge.
Strong understanding of financial products and trade lifecycle processes.
SQL and advanced Excel.
Python or similar scripting/programming experience.
Business requirements analysis, workflow analysis, UAT, testing, and production support.
Agile/Scrum methodology.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience:
Experience as a Business Analyst supporting trading systems, capital markets, investment banking, or financial services.
Experience working with traders, quants, developers, risk teams, and technology stakeholders.
Experience with trade capture, pricing, position management, and front-to-back trading workflows.
Experience supporting UAT, functional testing, releases, and production environments.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $145,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
