Description:You will be the Traffic Administrator supporting Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control operations in Camden, AR. In this role, you will support the movement of material, hardware, and finished goods by coordinating shipping and receiving activity across commercial and government transportation requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
This position is responsible for helping ensure shipments move safely, accurately, cost effectively, and in alignment with production, sustainment, customer, contract, and regulatory requirements. The selected candidate will work closely with internal teams, freight carriers, freight forwarders, shipping personnel, production planning, supply chain, quality, and government customer representatives to support daily execution.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate outbound shipment activity for government and commercial shipments
Support shipping and receiving processes for production and sustainment requirements
Prepare, review, and validate shipping documentation for accuracy and completeness
Coordinate carrier pickups and shipment schedules across multiple transportation modes
Support small package, ground, air, less than truckload, full truckload, flatbed, specialized, and rail shipments
Utilize company and government shipping systems to process transportation documentation
Support DD250, Wide Area Workflow, Shipping Information Requests, Transportation Management System activity, and related Traffic processes
Interface with freight carriers, freight forwarders, internal customers, and external organizations to resolve shipment issues
Monitor shipment status and communicate delays, risks, or documentation concerns to appropriate stakeholders
Assist with freight bill audits, claim preparation, and transportation cost reviews
Ensure shipments are coordinated in accordance with company procedures, transportation agreements, customer requirements, and applicable government regulations
Maintain accurate records and support process improvements within the Traffic organization

Basic Qualifications:
Experience supporting commercial, government, military, logistics, shipping, receiving, transportation, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
Experience preparing, reviewing, or coordinating shipping documentation
Experience working with transportation modes such as small package, ground, air, less than truckload, full truckload, flatbed, specialized freight, or rail
Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, external carriers, and other support organizations
Ability to work in a detail driven environment where accuracy, documentation, and follow through are critical
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Ability to work full time onsite in Camden, AR
Desired Skills:
Associate degree, bachelors degree, or equivalent experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, business, or a related field
Hands on experience with SAP or a similar ERP or MRP system
Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems
Experience with DD250, Wide Area Workflow, or government shipment documentation
Experience supporting freight optimization, carrier selection, or transportation cost analysis
Experience auditing freight bills or supporting freight claims
Knowledge of government transportation regulations, commercial shipping requirements, or defense manufacturing logistics
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines
Ability to identify shipment risks, communicate issues early, and help drive resolution
Experience working in a production, sustainment, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
