Traffic Camera Operator
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour/ paid weekly
Shift: Day and Night shift -10-12-hour shifts. Seeking flex employees
- Will average 32-40 hours per week (Weather permitting)
- Start/End times will vary. 1st shift can start as early as 3am (normally around 5-6am) and 3rd shift can start as early at 5pm (normally 7-8pm)
- Must be flexible to various shifts days or nights during weekdays, and weekends as needed.
- Location is Harrisburg, PA
- Must be willing to sit in a vehicle for long periods at a time.
- This position requires working closely with local DMV to enforce speeding regulations in construction zones.
Responsibilities:
- Set up/take down camera equipment
- Monitor vehicle speeds at assigned locations
- Process paperwork accurately for court deployment forms.
- Local travel within the jurisdiction assigned or travel within the State of Pennsylvania
- Monitor weather and lighting and make camera adjustments as necessary.
- Communicate with supervisor and other operators
- Responsible for professional conduct and demeanor at all times while traveling to and from sites and while representing the company at any time.
- Log and report equipment-related issues
Requirements:
- Clear driving record is required-MVR
- Valid Driver’s License
- Drug and Background screening
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform job at a high level with little supervision
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Intermediate knowledge of operating computers and related equipment
- Photography knowledge and skills a plus
- Steel toe shoes required
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
