Traffic Camera Operator
Location: Norristown, PA
Pay Rate: $19.50-20.00/hour
Shift: Day and Night shift- 10-12-hour shifts.
- 1st shift can start as early as 3am and 3rd shift can start as early at 5pm
- Will average 32-40 hours per week (Weather permitting)
Job Description: - Must be flexible to various shifts on weekdays, and weekends.
- Must be willing to sit in a vehicle for long periods at a time.
- This position requires working closely with the local DMV to enforce speeding regulations in construction zones.
Responsibilities: - Set up/take down camera equipment
- Monitor vehicle speeds at assigned locations
- Process paperwork accurately for court deployment forms.
- Local travel within the jurisdiction assigned or travel within the State of Pennsylvania
- Monitor weather and lighting and make camera adjustments as necessary.
- Communicate with supervisor and other operators
- Responsible for professional conduct and demeanor at all times while traveling to and from sites and while representing the company at any time.
- Log and report equipment-related issues
Requirements: - Clear driving record is required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be 21 years of age or older per client.
- Drug and Background screening
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform job at a high level with little supervision
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Intermediate knowledge of operating computers and related equipment
- Steel toe shoes required
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs
