Traffic Checker
Job Location: Stockton, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $19-$19.50/hour
Schedule: Monday - Saturday; 1pm - 9:30pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience working in a yard or warehouse environment? Our client is looking for a dependable Traffic Checker to help manage the safe and efficient flow of trucks entering the cannery yard. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable working outdoors in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet incoming trucks, including company vehicles and sub-haulers, and direct them to designated parking and drop-off locations
- Monitor yard traffic to ensure safe and efficient vehicle movement
- Identify and report any vehicle damage, safety concerns, or incidents that occur within the yard
- Prepare and maintain required paperwork and records
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
