This position is for 1st shift: 5:00AM - 1:00PM Saturday - Wednesday

What You Will Do:

• You will monitor freeway conditions and traffic incidents using Buckeye Traffic and CCTV cameras.
• You will update traffic information and post messages to DMS and other traveler information systems.
• You will communicate with ODOT staff, law enforcement, 911 centers, and emergency responders regarding traffic incidents.
• You will monitor traffic management equipment and report equipment or system issues.
• You will prepare communications regarding traffic incidents, road closures, and other events affecting traffic flow.

6 courses or 18 mos. trg. or exp. in advanced computer operations to include 1 course or 3 mos. trg. or exp. in business communications.

• Or 12 mos. exp. as a Traffic Management Center Operator 1, 52511.
• Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
