Job Summary:

The Traffic & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate receiving, documentation, inventory transactions, and coordination of transportation to support production schedules and customer deliveries.

What you will be doing

  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments
  • Verify, inspect, and receive materials against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Process shipping and receiving documentation accurately in ERP/WMS systems
  • Schedule freight pickups and deliveries to meet production and customer deadlines
  • Communicate shipment status, delays, and discrepancies to relevant teams
  • Maintain organized records of bills of lading, invoices, and receiving logs
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and shipping regulations
  • Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and warehouse organization

What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or manufacturing operations

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills are required.
  • Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • This position operates in both office and warehouse settings and may require standing, lifting, and coordination with production teams in a manufacturing facility.
  • Must be able to read and understand basic commands in English
  • Must be able to read, understand, and follow all work and safety instructions
