We are seeking an experienced Traffic Safety Flagger Instructor to deliver high-quality training in work zone safety and flagging operations. The instructor will teach state-approved flagger procedures, provide hands-on demonstrations, and certify participants in accordance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach work zone safety, traffic control, and flagging procedures.
- Deliver classroom and hands-on instruction following state, OSHA, and ATSSA guidelines.
- Administer written/practical assessments and issue certifications.
- Prepare training materials and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure a safe, compliant, and engaging learning environment.
Preferred
- ATSSA Flagger Instructor Certification-MANDATORY
- Instructor-level certification
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- CPR/First Aid certification
- ATSSA Flagger Instructor Certification-MANDATORY
- 2-3 years' experience in traffic control, construction safety, or related field.
- Current Flagger Certification (state DOT/ATSSA or equivalent).
- Prior training or teaching experience preferred.
- Strong communication and safety leadership skills.
- Valid driver's license: ability to stand and demonstrate physical tasks.
