The City of Greensboro's Department of Transportation seeks a motivated and safety-conscious professional to join our Traffic Operations team. As a Traffic Signal Technician, you will help ensure the safe and efficient operation of traffic signals and control systems across the city. The job selection process allows for the selection of a candidate at either the Traffic Signal Technician 1, Traffic Signal Technician II, or Traffic Signal Technician III position based on your experience and education. This is an excellent opportunity for Traffic Signal Technicians at a variety of levels to build their skill set, take on increasing responsibilities, and progress upwards as a Traffic Signal Technician. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience working with the community, knowledge of the basics of electricity, and the ability to understand and interpret technical documents and signal plans.

About the Role:
As a Traffic Signal Technician, you will participate in the installation, repair, and maintenance of traffic signals and other traffic control devices.
