Trailer Chassis Systems Technician

Picture your day starting in a clean, well-equipped shop where you power up JPRO and OEM diagnostic software, run quick electrical checks with your multimeter, and map out the day’s trailer chassis maintenance. You rotate a set of tires, dial in brake and suspension performance, knock out an oil change, then move to a fabrication bay for a light weld. You document each repair, update customers clearly, and wrap up knowing the fleet you touched will roll safely and efficiently.

Your core responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes and tire rotations
• Diagnose issues with the trailer's systems, including the electrical, suspension, and brake systems
• Repair or replace damaged or worn parts, such as tires, brakes, and suspension components
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed
• Communicate with customers about repairs and maintenance
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

What it takes to thrive here

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Technical or advanced degree or 2 years or more of equivalent maintenance experience
• Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
• Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.
• On-site evaluation with recommended training
