What You'll Do

As our Trailer Mechanic, you'll inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial-grade trailers to keep our customers safely on the road.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trailers
  
• Repair roofs, sidewalls, flooring, doors, and structural components
  
• Repair and replace lighting and electrical wiring
  
• Perform brake, suspension, and wheel-end repairs
  
• Troubleshoot and repairing hydraulic systems
  
• Weld and fabricate trailer components
  
• Perform sheet metal repairs and fabrication
  
• Install rivets, bolts, and other fasteners
  
• Complete preventative maintenance inspections
  
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  
• Document completed repairs and inspections
  

Requirements

• Previous trailer mechanic or heavy-duty mechanical experience required
  
• Welding and fabrication experience (MIG preferred)
  
• Experience with sheet metal repairs
  
• Hydraulic system knowledge
  
• Electrical wiring and lighting troubleshooting experience
  
• Brake and suspension repair experience
  
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely and power tools
  
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  
• Valid driver's license required
