Job Overview Perform routine maintenance inspections, rebuilds, and component replacements as a Trailer Technician in Gary, IN. Work on company trailers.

Responsibilities • Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance to trailers - like tire changes, minor electrical repairs, and greasing. • Use maintenance software to create and track work orders. • Communicate status updates with internal customers.

Skills and Qualifications Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or a minimum of 1 year of trailer technician experience. Basic welding skills preferred. Computer systems and diagnostic software experience. Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions. Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.

Company Benefits Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working 50 or greater of the daily shift time between 3 p.m. and 5 a.m. local time receive a 1.50 per hour differential for hours worked. Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working weekend hours receive an additional 0.65 per hour differential for hours worked. Weekend hours worked between 9pm Friday - 5am Monday.
