Trainer, Central Scheduling

Hours: 8am - 430pm

Job Description

Accountable for development, distribution, oversight and delivery of training materials for enterprise central scheduling. Training scope includes newly onboarded Enterprise Central Schedulers, leaders and supervisors as well as continuing education needs of the Enterprise Central Scheduling department. Ensure that new and exisiting staff have documentation of workflows, understanding of system workflows including registration, insurance verification, scheduling, telephony software and customer service. Assist with optimization of workflows in partnership with management team; prepare Central Scheduling departments for system upgrades, software implementations and routine training requirements.

Required Experience and Education:

Microsoft Office (Advanced). Learning Management System (LMS). Rapid eLearning development and supporting software (e.g. Articulate, Captivate, etc.) desirable. Graphic design and supporting software desirable (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator) desirable

AND

Bachelors degree in healthcare management, Instructional Design, Education, required. Prior training in Revenue Cycle and organizational development, preferably in a hospital. Knowledge of insurance and managed care product protocols

Salary Range

$44,747.04 to $65,900.38 Annual

The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
