The Training Administrator will oversee and coordinate MAC certification and recertification for Vinfen CT in alignment with state regulations and internal training standards. Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the medication administration certification process, including managing training enrollments, maintaining accurate certification and compliance records, and supporting communication with staff and supervisors. Perform administrative support duties and occasional training for Vinfen’s CT Training Center.

• Oversee and coordinate MAC certification, and recertification in alignment with state regulations and internal training standards.
•Serve as the Medication Administration Coordinator for DDS
•Enroll staff into required learning programs and maintain roster accuracy across systems.
•Ensure class assignments, waitlists, cancellations, and rescheduling tasks are processed accurately and on time.
•Communicate enrollment confirmations, instructions, and reminders to learners and supervisors.
•Schedule and administer DDS MAC recertification test
• Monitor MAC compliance status, overdue trends, and escalate risks to the Associate Director.
• Function as receptionist for Vinfen Training Center
• Data enter MAC certification expiration dates into Human Resources Information System (HRIS) in a timely and accurate manner.
• Regularly update training database with MAC annual and recertification dates
• Generate reports from training database or HRIS on certification and training information, as needed.
• Provide training in CPR, Emergency Management Techniques and other areas of need
• Receive copies of Red Cross and other certificates obtained outside of Vinfen and data enter into training database in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain accurate files of copies of certification information.
• Perform other related duties, as required.

Qualifications:Typical Requirements:
Minimum of two years’ experience in training or human services operations or minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative support function. Additional requirements include MS Office
computer skills and database experience. Experience using an LMS such as Relias is preferred.
Preferred /Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred. In some cases, experience may be substituted for academic training.
Driving Requirements: Driving is not required.
Physical Effort:
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer. Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time as needed. Ability to bend, reach, file, sit, stand and move around the facility. Ability to speak, hear and communicate with persons served, staff and external representatives. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
