Details: Contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role

Pay Rate: $40.00 - 42.50/hr. with benefit inclusions

Job Summary

The Training and Development Specialist II is responsible for identifying learning needs, designing and delivering training solutions, and supporting talent development initiatives that improve employee performance and organizational effectiveness. This role partners with business leaders to develop engaging learning programs, assess development opportunities, evaluate training outcomes, and provide data-driven recommendations that support workforce growth and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assess training and development needs and design learning solutions that support business and employee growth.
• Develop, maintain, and facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning programs using established instructional design methodologies.
• Create training materials, assessments, and development resources that drive engagement and learning effectiveness.
• Partner with leaders to identify skill gaps, development priorities, and performance improvement opportunities.
• Analyze workforce and training data to measure program effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support assessment, coaching, and development planning initiatives to strengthen employee capabilities.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and learning-related documentation for stakeholders.
• Serve as a resource for employees and leaders regarding learning programs, policies, and development opportunities.

Years of Experience and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in learning and development, training, instructional design, talent development, or a related discipline.
• Experience facilitating training programs and evaluating learning outcomes preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
