JOB SUMMARY:
The Training and Development Specialist develops, implements and evaluates employee development plans and programs to support organizational needs as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines such as management development, talent management, succession planning, technical or nontechnical training, or e-learning. Monitors employee development and training programs, assesses needs and results, develops new programs and modifies existing programs.

QUALITY:
Supports, maintains, and continually improves Knowlton Technologies, LLC Quality Management System in accordance with requirements of the IATF 16949 International Standard. Employee has the role and responsibility to follow the work instructions and Current Best Practices that support the KT Value Stream Maps.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
COMPUTER LITERACY:
Skills necessary to operate computer hardware/software for the purpose of generating or retrieving information required in the performance of job responsibilities (including Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports. Ability to respond to common inquiries and complaints from regulatory agencies, members of the business community, and employees. Ability to effectively present information to top management.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talks or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
Since the facility is located on multiple levels, the employee must possess the ability to climb stairs on a routine basis.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment will vary depending on plant site.
