The Training & Intern Coordinator supports FBH’s workforce development by managing the electronic learning management system (LMS), creating and updating internal training modules, facilitating general orientation, and coordinating the administrative lifecycle of incoming interns and students. This role ensures seamless compliance tracking, content upkeep, and onboarding logistics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compliance & Training Affiliate Relations
Stay up to date with regulatory and mandatory training requirements to ensure organizational compliance.
Maintain NASW registration for the CEU approval process, tracking all CEUs within the organization.
Track employee training within the LMS and with training affiliates (NASW, MOAB, etc.)
Generate and distribute regular compliance reports for supervisors to track their direct reports and active interns.
New Hire, Student & Event Logistics
Facilitate New Employee General Orientation.
Handle logistics for internal and external training activities, including scheduling, room setup, tech troubleshooting, and distributing onboarding or instructional materials.
Manage and maintain training facilities and equipment to ensure a professional learning environment.
Maintain the Training SharePoint site with updated orientation calendars, schedules, and resources.
Gather feedback from new hires post-orientation to ensure a high-quality onboarding experience.
Learning Management System (LMS) Management
Serve as the primary organization-wide LMS administrator, managing user profiles, employee rosters, and routine system audits.
Create new, straightforward training modules and/or refresh and update existing FBH training materials housed within the LMS.
Develop training and job aids such as manuals, handouts, etc. to support learning modules.
Convert existing FBH policies, handouts, and PowerPoints into accessible digital modules or recorded content within the system.
Provide basic troubleshooting and technical support to employees experiencing system access issues.
Intern & Student Process Coordination
Serve as the administrative point of contact for student interns and academic program placements.
Coordinate the end-to-end administrative onboarding process for interns, ensuring all background checks, school paperwork, and initial agreements are completed.
Schedule and track mandatory training compliance are specifically required for students and interns before they begin clinical or operational rotations.
Maintain organized files and databases tracking student placements, hour requirements, and university affiliations.
Other
Provide administrative assistance and backup for the HR department as needed.
Maintain strict confidentiality of FBH, employee, and student information.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL HAVE:
REQUIRED:
Three years of related experience, including software maintenance, coordination of human resources or training functions, conducting new hire orientation, and onboarding employees.
PREFERRED:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
Work experience in an HR or training department.
Experience with multiple web design technology tools such as HTML and development platforms (i.e. Photoshop, Prezi, Articulate Studio, Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
Experience publishing courseware using e-learning standards (SCORM and AICC).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Technical aptitude to navigate, update, and build content directly within a Learning Management System (LMS) and proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, SharePoint).
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail for tracking records and compliance data, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Clear, welcoming, and professional communication style to engage with new hires, students, and academic coordinators. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds, education level and professions.
Ability to maintain data integrity and handle sensitive personal/educational information with strict confidentiality.
Ability to deliver engaging and effective training in a variety of settings including; one-to-one, e-learning, classroom-based instruction and through learning aids.

PAY RANGE (Hourly/ Non-Exempt): $27.59- $33.24
All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health; thus, the starting pay for this position is $27.59 per hour.
