    Position SummaryWorld Relief seeks an experienced immigration attorney for its National Immigration Programs team to provide training, technical assistance, and resources to support Immigration Legal Services (ILS) practitioners at World Relief's local offices and faith‑based nonprofit ILS affiliates. This is a part‑time position for 25 hours per week.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate training calendar for monthly webinars by planning topics, preparing and delivering webinars, creating short quizzes, and scheduling guest trainers as needed.Create practice advisories, templates, and other written resources for ILS practitioners.Curate legal updates, resources, training opportunities, and news clips for weekly e‑newsletter.Coordinate and assist with delivery of Basic Immigration Law Trainings (typically two 6‑week virtual sessions and two 1‑week in‑person sessions each year) and participate in grading exams and assignments from the Trainings.Obtain approval for World Relief to offer Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits for virtual and in‑person trainings.Answer legal questions pertaining to individual cases, immigration law, legal ethics, and government policy and practice by email, Microsoft Teams, and phone from World Relief immigration legal services (ILS) practitioners in local offices and faith‑based nonprofit affiliates.Participate in refining assessment tools for ILS programs.Other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsMature and personal Christian faithCommitted to the mission, vision, and values of World ReliefDesire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communitiesAble to affirm and/or acknowledge World Relief's Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Association of Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation documentValid driver's license, access to reliable vehicle and ability to pass MVR standardsLicensed attorney in a jurisdiction in the United States, and in good standing in all jurisdictions where admittedAt least five years of recent experience in family‑based and humanitarian‑based immigration lawStrong commitment to legal ethics and ability to keep information confidentialDemonstrated oral and written communication skillsUp to 25% domestic travelOrganized and detail‑oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple projectsSelf‑motivated, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑based environmentAbility to effectively and professionally work with individuals from many different backgrounds; able to handle sensitive situations with tact and confidentialityExperience in trauma‑informed practiceMentoring skillsTraining experience in virtual and in‑person contextsPreferred QualificationsExperience in ILS program management strongly preferredRecent experience in removal defense and crimmigration is strongly preferredKnowledge of Zoom and Thinkific preferredBenefitsWorld Relief offers a competitive benefits package and employee discount program for full‑time, regular employees.Legal ComplianceReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
