Training & Compliance Coordinator
Location: Albuquerque, NM, 87113
Position Overview
The Training & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the branch complies with all training and record-keeping requirements while maintaining adherence to field standards and operational protocols. This role involves conducting field inspections, facilitating employee training, tracking certifications, and supporting compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Field Oversight
- Perform daily yard inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with operational standards.
- Conduct regular field visits to observe and assess compliance with safety and quality standards across Traffic Control, Pavement Marking, and Sign Installation operations.
New Hire Orientation (NHO)
- Present Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, lead facility tours, facilitate hands-on training, and coordinate enrollment for TMA, Forklift, and Propane training with Operations Managers.
- Administer Flagger certification tests and submit required documentation.
Ongoing Training & System Support
- Deliver ongoing training or troubleshooting support for various RS applications.
- Maintain and manage employee records in Motive, including adding/removing users as needed.
Technical Training Delivery
- Traffic Control, Pavement Marking, and Sign Installation training.
Other Duties
- Maintain current certifications and complete all RoadSafe-required training.
- Represent the branch at local industry association meetings.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2–5 years of experience in training, compliance, quality control, or field operations— preferably in highway safety, traffic control, or construction.
Certifications & Licenses
- Must hold or be able to obtain TCS (Traffic Control Supervisor) Certification and Forklift Trainer Certification.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Motive, EHS systems, Lee Trans, and Microsoft Office Suite.
