The Production Training Coordinator is an entry-level contributor that works to support our training initiatives and enhance the skills of our production team. This role will provide operations and administrative support in coordinating and delivering training programs to production employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. 

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions for production employees, including new hire orientation, on-the-job training, and skills development workshops. 
  • Work closely with department managers and supervisors to identify training needs and develop training plans to address them. 
  • Update and maintain training materials to reflect changes in processes, procedures, and equipment. 
  • Gather feedback from trainees and supervisors to evaluate training effectiveness and adjust as needed. 
  • Ensure compliance with training requirements and regulatory standards, maintaining accurate records of training completion and certifications. 
  • Prepare reports and documentation to track training metrics, including participation rates, completion rates, and training outcomes. 
  • Actively participate in group activities and collaborates with team. 
  • Provide basic analysis and apply knowledge from experience or standard procedure to solve problems. 
  • Perform other duties as needed.  

Required Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. 
  • 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Competencies:
  • Applies conceptual knowledge of the theories, practices, and procedures within a discipline.  
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. 
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. 
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. 
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products. 

Other Pertinent Job Information:  
  • Occasional exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and other conditions associated with a high-traffic production floor. 
  • Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time. 
  • Bending, crouching, and stooping may be required.  
  • Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled facilities.  
  • The work environment may be a noisy, high traffic manufacturing production floor.  
  • May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays. 
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day. 
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
