Training Coordinator, Mobile Equipment

The Mobile Equipment Training Team is looking for a highly motivated and energetic trainer to support New Hire and existing employee Mobile Equipment training needs. The Training Coordinator, Mobile Equipment New Hire Training will be responsible for creating a positive training experience for those in need of Mobile Equipment training. This position requires a keen eye for accuracy in document keeping and regular use of email communication. The trainer must ensure anyone trained to drive mobile equipment is properly trained, certified, and maintains safety protocols while driving around a Tesla site. The successful candidate will have a passion for training, exhibits integrities, and has a high level of professionalism.

• Clear understanding and ownership of New Hires and other employees requiring a mobile equipment certification for their job
• Facilitating and presenting Mobile Equipment Safety in a classroom setting
• Comfortable and confident in speaking and presenting in front of large groups of people
• Promotes a positive New Hire and employee training experience
• Communicates effectively and efficiently to trainees, fellow trainers, leadership, and other cross functional support teams
• Develop and improve training process documents and training certification requirements (Experience, Knowledge, Demonstrated Skills) for Mobile Equipment
• Perform Audits of Mobile Equipment operators to improve the training process
• 2+ years of experience of Forklift/Mobile Equipment experience
• Must have strong organizational skills to maintain schedules and deadlines
• Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to communicate in both written and oral formats clearly and effectively
• Open collaborative style: ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously with minimal supervision or direction
• Ability to be unfazed by ambiguity and comfortable in environments with shifting priorities
• Substantial experience using a variety Mobile Equipment such as Pallet Jack, Electric Pallet Jack, Reach Truck, Tugger, Walkie Rider, Scissor Lift, Articulating Lift, Lull, Skid Steer, Mobile Crane, Medium Forklift (10k), Large Forklift (30+k)- in PCA), and Cranes

Expected Compensation

• Training Coordinator I - $25.88 - $28.80/hour

• Training Coordinator II - $30.46 - $33.67/hour

• Training Coordinator III - $33.09 - $38.46/hour

• Training Coordinator IV - $35.93 - $43.91/hour

• Lead Training Coordinator - $40.09 - $49.00/hour

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
