About the Role:

The Training Coordinator partners with Human Resources, Branch Managers, and department leaders to ensure employees receive high-quality onboarding, compliance, systems, product, service, and operational training. This position is instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous learning while promoting integrity, professionalism, cooperation, and service excellence throughout the organization.

 

What You'll Do as a Training Coordinator:

 

Employee Onboarding & Development

  • -Facilitate comprehensive onboarding and job-specific training for new employees, including Tellers and Solutions Center Representatives.
  • -Deliver engaged training on products, services, policies, procedures, operational standards, member service, and consultative sales techniques.
  • -Provide role-specific training across departments, tailoring content to meet individual and team needs.
  • -Support ongoing employee development through programs focused on member service excellence, sales effectiveness, compliance, operational procedures, process improvements, system enhancements, and new product launches.

 

Training Program Design & Delivery

  • -Create and maintain training materials, assessments, job aids, and learning resources aligned with organizational goals, including:
    • -New Lender Development
    • -Member Service Excellence
    • -Call Center Excellence

 

Learning Management & Reporting

  • -Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including assignments, completion tracking, reporting, and maintenance of the annual training calendar.
  • -Monitor training progress and provide timely updates and feedback to managers.
  • -Collaborate with Branch Managers to facilitate individualized training plans for branch staff.

 

What We're Looking For:

 

Qualifications

  • -One to three years of similar or related training experience.
  • -Two years minimum experience in a Credit Union.
  • -Knowledge of Symitar/ Jack Henry systems required.
  • -Associate degree, specialized certification or licensing, vendor-led specialized training, apprenticeship experience, or equivalent job-related skills and knowledge.
  • -Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • -Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • -Ability to motivate, influence, and train others while building positive working relationships across departments.
  • -Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • -Commitment to professionalism, accountability, accuracy, and delivering high-quality work.

Work Environment:

This is an in-office position based in Poughkeepsie, NY. Occasional travel to other TEG Federal Credit Union locations is required.

 

Compensation:

$26.00-$29.00 per hour, based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills. Eligible for the TEG annual bonus.
