Training Director

Oversee teaching and equipping Team Members to align with the goal of being The

Colony’s most caring company

Responsibilities:

• Oversees all certifications and periodically reevaluates the program for

continuous improvement

• Completes orientation with all new hires

• Equips all Team Members to be able to teach new hires

• Makes sure everyone stays up to date on certifications

• Keeping all Team Members current on Food Handler cards

• Manages any certification-based pay increases and communicates them with

leader overseeing payroll

• Makes sure new Team Members are certified in a timely manner and works with

the scheduler in making this happen

• Helps facilitate follow-up teaching with Team Members struggling in different

areas

• Makes sure new menu item procedures are communicated and taught to Team

Members

• Works with Executive Directors and/or Ops Leads on any leadership-based

certifications for Team Members

• Communicates important information with the rest of the leadership team

Qualifications:

• Current or previous experience working at a Chick-fil-A.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and energized by team success.
• Passion for hospitality, growth, and service excellence.
• Available to work evenings, Saturday’s, and select holidays.
• Ability to meet with the leadership on a monthly basis.
• Ability to be a part-time or full-time position.

• Team Member certification success

• Timeliness of completing responsibilities

• Feedback from Team Members and Leaders

• Effectiveness of communication with other Operator and other leaders
