This position is located on campus in Hanover, NH ,and requires regular weekly on-site work presence with some remote flexibility; Typical schedule is M-F with ability to work some evenings and 2-3 Sundays per 10-week term.

The Training Facilitator and Operations Assistant supports the Sexual Violence Prevention Project (SVPP), a presidential initiative delivering a four-year undergraduate curriculum to prevent sexual violence, by facilitating student trainings and supporting daily project functions. This position delivers a diverse range of trainings that each require nuanced, professional, and adaptable facilitation skills. The Training and Operations Assistant works as a part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based programs and interventions focused on skill acquisition and culture change to prevent violence by increasing bystander intervention, utilization of resources and supports, positive relationships and sexual experiences, and using power for good in order to fulfill the mission of the Student Wellness Center.

Bachelor's degree in public health, social work, social justice education, cultural foundations of education, health education, higher education, counseling, or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
1-2 years of experience in facilitating programs related to sexual violence, violence prevention, health promotion, wellness, public health, behavior change, or a closely related field
High degree of flexibility, including the ability to work some evenings and 2-3 Sundays per 10-week term
Proficiency in topic areas of relationship violence, stalking, sexual harassment, and sexual assault
Excellent public speaking, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience facilitating interactive, skill-based workshops
Demonstrated proficiency with using a range of digital tools and platforms, including cloud-based file management systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace, with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
Demonstrated ability to foster positive and productive relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and completely with minimal supervision, to manage multiple tasks, and to work constructively in a team environment
Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in public health, social work, social justice education, cultural foundations of education, health education, higher education, counseling, or related field
3+ years of experience in facilitating programs related to sexual violence prevention, or a closely related field
Expertise with topic areas of relationship violence, stalking, sexual harassment, and sexual assault
Expertise in facilitating interactive, skill-based workshops
Experience working in a higher education environment or with college-aged individuals
Experience working with and/or advocating on behalf of marginalized people (e.g., African-American, Asian-American, Faith-Based, International, Latine, LGBTQIA+, Native American)
Experience with student athletes and/or working with students affiliated with greek organizations
Training in or experience with Student Wellness Center philosophies and approaches (e.g., motivational interviewing, bystander intervention, behavior change theories, socio-ecological model, etc.)
Experience with social media and/or social norms marketing
Experience in communications, project management, and event planning
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Key Accountabilities
Description
Facilitates a high volume of programming for a diverse undergraduate population related to building skills across the four main behavioral outcomes of SVPP: using power to increase equitable interactions and belonging, utilization of resources and supports, bystander intervention, and positive relationships and sexual experiences. Focuses on delivering student-facing trainings for approximately half of Dartmouth's 10-week term.
Percentage Of Time 50% Description
Plans, manages, coordinates, and seeks to improve administrative office functions to help ensure timely, effective, and efficient department operations. Coordinates key accountabilities including maintaining the website, organization of project files/drives, purchasing materials, supplies, and software, utilizing project management tools, event planning, distributing promotional materials, updating team workflows and processes, and other logistics.
Percentage Of Time 25% Description
Assists with project initiatives as part of the SVPP team including maintaining the project's research citation platform, sending student communications, programming logistics, tracking student engagement, observing student facilitators to ensure training efficacy, supervising student workers, social norm campaigns, orientation, and coordinating focus-groups and surveys.
