    Training Manager, Biotronik NEURO

At BIOTRONIK Neuro, we're ready to redefine relief for patients experiencing chronic pain. Leveraging BIOTRONIK's advanced cardiovascular technologies, BIOTRONIK Neuro has created a new approach to SCS therapy management: one that's not just implanted, but truly connected to the needs of patients and providers.

The Training Manager leads BIOTRONIK NEURO's U.S. education strategy for field sales, clinical support, sales leaders, field trainers, and onboarding mentors. The role converts business priorities, field needs, product strategy, and regulatory requirements into scalable programs that build clinical, technical, product, selling, territory-management, and leadership capabilities. This role owns curriculum, certification, launch readiness, training effectiveness, and stakeholder alignment.

    Why Join BIOTRONIK NEURO:

Shape a growing education capability at the intersection of patient impact, neuromodulation innovation, and commercial excellence. This visible role offers broad influence and the opportunity to build scalable programs that strengthen field performance and patient outcomes.

    Essential Functions:

The Training Manager's responsibilities include the following:

    • Execute the multi-year training strategy and annual plan aligned with commercial priorities, product strategy, and global education initiatives.
    • Lead onboarding, certification, advanced, leadership, product, clinical, and selling curricula across live, virtual, digital, and blended formats.
    • Use needs assessments, field gap analyses, performance data, and learner feedback to prioritize programs and improve business impact.
    • Own learning pathways, competency models, certification standards, assessments, training records, policies, work instructions, and curriculum governance.
    • Lead product and therapy launch readiness, including content, train-the-trainer programs, field reinforcement, and post-launch measurement.
    • Maintain expertise in spinal cord stimulation therapies, BIOTRONIK NEURO products, competitive offerings, clinical workflows, and market trends.
    • Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Quality, Human Resources, R&D, and global education teams to deliver integrated, compliant solutions.
    • Provide standards, resources, guidance, and feedback to field trainers, facilitators, subject-matter experts, and onboarding mentors to ensure consistent delivery.
    • Measure certification, proficiency, time to productivity, field application, and business impact; use insights to improve programs and advise senior leaders.
    • Work within the annual budget, and assist with vendors, learning technologies, and resources; evaluate LMS enhancements and emerging tools that improve scale and analytics.
    • Assist in the planning of the national sales meetings, regional programs, congresses, and other internal learning events.
    • Lead communication and change-management efforts that drive adoption of new products, processes, competencies, and behaviors.
    • Perform other duties and strategic projects as assigned.

    Competencies:

    • Strategic leadership and business judgment
    • Adult learning, curriculum architecture, instructional design, and blended learning
    • Advanced live, virtual, and experiential facilitation
    • Neuromodulation and spinal cord stimulation expertise
    • Commercial excellence and field-performance improvement
    • Cross-functional collaboration and influence in a matrixed organization
    • Executive communication and stakeholder management
    • Learning analytics and data-informed decision-making
    • Regulatory, legal, quality, and promotional compliance

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in learning and development, business, biology, health science, engineering, nursing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
    • Five or more years of progressive experience in medical device, neuromodulation, life sciences, or another regulated healthcare environment.
    • Five or more years in field sales, clinical support, commercial education, or sales training.
    • Demonstrated success leading technical, clinical, product, and commercial training for geographically dispersed teams.
    • Proven expertise in adult learning, curriculum and certification design, needs assessment, and training measurement.

    • Medical-device sales management or commercial leadership experience.
    • Experience leading major product launches and national sales-meeting education.
    • Certification in facilitation, instructional design, curriculum architecture, coaching, or change management.
    • Experience managing budgets, vendors, learning technologies, and complex cross-functional projects.
