SUMMARY:
Manages the development, implementation, coordination, and facilitation of all CGRC training programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises Training Coordinator, Trainers, and other assigned staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Team Members; addressing complaints and resolving programs.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in training, organizational development, education, or a related field ;or five years' experience in a training and development role and three years' in supervisory/management role; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that enables successful performance in all aspects of the position.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Attention to detail required, as well as strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Must possess ability to clearly explain and demonstrate concepts and skills to others. Must understand how to breakdown complex material into teachable segments for independent or classroom instruction. Knowledge of instructional methods and training techniques including curriculum development, learning theory, group and individual teaching techniques, and test design principle. Experience analyzing company training and development needs. Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, learning management system administration, and e-learning software. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of Team Members, managers, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
