Overview:
The Training Manager leads the DOE/NNSA Protective Force training program at Kirtland AFB, ensuring personnel maintain required qualifications, certifications, and operational readiness. This positionservesasakeymemberoftheleadershipteamandworkscloselywithsitemanagementandgovernmentrepresentativestosupportacriticalnationalsecuritymission.
** Position is contingent upon contract award and based in Albuquerque, NM at Kirtland AFB. Candidates from other DOE, NNSA, national laboratory, and nuclear security locations are encouraged to apply. Relocation support may be available for qualified individuals. **
Responsibilities:
- LeadandmanagetheProtectiveForcetrainingprogram.
- Develop anddeliverinitial,annual,refresher,andremedialtraining.
- Ensure compliancewithDOE,NNSA,NTC,andcontractrequirements.
- Maintain trainingrecords,certifications,andqualificationprograms.
- Conduct evaluations,drills,andperformanceassessments.
- Identify traininggapsandimplementcorrectiveactions.
- Coordinate withsiteleadershipandgovernmentstakeholders.
- Support inspections,audits,andoperationalreadinessactivities.
- Serve astheProjectManager'srepresentativewhenrequired.
- Otherdutiesasassigned
Qualifications:
- ExperiencemanagingoradministeringtrainingprogramswithinaDOE,NNSA,ProtectiveForce,military,lawenforcement,orhigh-securityenvironment.
- Experiencedevelopinganddeliveringsecurity-relatedtraining.
- Knowledgeofqualification,certification,andcompliancerequirements.
- DOEQClearanceorabilitytoobtainandmaintainone.
- CurrentNTCProtectiveForceBasicSecurityOfficerTrainercertificationorabilitytoobtain.
- Strongleadership,organizational,andcommunicationskills.
PreferredQualifications:
- NTCInstructor,CurriculumDevelopment,orrelatedDOEtrainingcertifications.
- Experiencesupportingarmedsecuritypersonnelandqualificationprograms.
- Experienceworkingdirectlywithgovernmentcustomersandstakeholders.
