Are you a strong communicator who can turn complex information into meaningful learning experiences, and has the initiative to take an idea from assessment to action? The Criminal Injuries Compensation Fund (CICF) is seeking a Training & Outreach Coordinator to lead training and outreach efforts for employees, partners, and allied professionals.
This highly visible, public-facing role is ideal for someone who enjoys building programs and relationships, confidently presenting to diverse audiences, and independently turning identified needs into organized plans and results. If you’re ready to use your training, teaching, communications, outreach, or public-service experience to make a meaningful impact for Virginia’s victims and those who serve them, we’d love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
As the Training & Outreach Coordinator, you’ll take the lead in developing and delivering training that helps CICF employees, partner agencies, and allied professionals understand CICF programs, services, processes, and resources. You’ll have the opportunity to assess what training is needed, build the plan, develop engaging content, and bring that training to life, both virtually and in person.
In this role, you will:
Represent CICF during critical events and emergencies, including Family Assistance Center activations when needed.
These responsibilities align with the three primary functions in the updated PD: training, outreach, and sponsorship coordination, along with the newly identified critical-event responsibility.
What We're Looking For
This role needs someone who can do more than deliver a presentation that has already been created. We’re looking for someone who can identify a need, determine a path forward, develop the resources, and follow through on implementation.
You’ll likely thrive in this role if you:
