Location: Pomona, CA (Hybrid Onsite Thursday once a week - Third week of the month will be M-Th onsite) Duration: 18 months Work Schedule: M-F 8-5
Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Education, instructional design, business, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Typically possesses four or more years of experience developing and/or delivering training. Demonstrated ability to communicate both technical and non-technical material in a readily understandable manner.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload
This role owns end-to-end training scheduling management and related operations for a large-scale ERP deployment. The Scheduling Sr Specialist partners with program leadership, training delivery teams, business stakeholders, and support functions to:
- Build and maintain an integrated training calendar, ensure accurate rosters and capacity planning, drive completion/attendance performance, and provide timely, actionable reporting aligned to the overall project plan and go-live readiness milestones.
- Coordinate and schedule all end users (~14K) for training, ensuring appropriate sequencing by role, location/site, and deployment waves, while accommodating operational constraints such as shift coverage, field/crew schedules, and critical business periods.
- Coordinate and schedule training facilitators & support roles for delivery of Train the Trainer (TTT) and End User Training (EUT).
- Manage learner rosters: enrollments, cancellations, substitutions, prerequisites, and access requirements; maintain data accuracy across scheduling and learning systems.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive master training schedule, including all training sessions (ILT/WBT), session cadence, and timing of content uploads/refreshes.
- Track training attendance, completions, and exceptions; reconcile discrepancies and follow up with learners/managers to drive completion rates to inform KPIs.
- Forecast training demand, balance class sizes, monitor constraints (trainer availability, room/virtual capacity), and recommend schedule changes to meet readiness dates.
- Identify and manage refresher/make-up training needs, timing, and schedules.
- Align the training schedule with the integrated project plan timeline and communicate session details with necessary stakeholders by release, course, and end user group.
- Support training communications (invitations, reminders, pre-work, surveys).
- Support issue resolution for scheduling and access problems.
- Identify and manage refresher and make-up training needs; design make-up windows and targeted sessions.
Required Skills/Attributes
- Five (5) or more years of proven experience in business operations, training, organizational readiness, and/or ERP or other business transformation experience.
- Experience building schedules, coordinating end user and/or Facilitator training schedules, and managing related metrics.
- Two or more years leading and/or supporting training or related functions, which may include implementing technical training initiatives, training development, instructional design, training delivery, training scheduling, and/or learning technologies and models such as ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, Enable Now, etc.
- Knowledge of tools such as MS Project or similar scheduling tools, SAP and/or S4HANA functionalities, modules, and integration points.
- Experience supporting a training, organizational readiness, and/or business readiness function for an enterprise-wide level program/project.
- Two or more years of experience leading or supporting cross-functional/cross-organizational teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Three or more years of experience effectively interfacing, collaborating, and partnering with stakeholders, senior management, and team members to drive solutions and obtain buy-in.

- Preferred - Bachelor's degree in business, education, Human Resources, project management, instructional design, or other applicable field.
- Understanding of ERP systems, implementation processes, and training best practices.
- Knowledge or experience working in Transmission and Distribution (T&D).
