Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services' company, is looking for a Training Specialist to support the design, delivery, and sustainment of training programs that enable CDC and public health users to adopt, operationalize, and optimize advanced AI, data, and decision‑support capabilities. This role focuses on developing learner‑centered training content, coordinating delivery, evaluating effectiveness, and supporting continuous improvement of training ecosystems across the DMAC environment.

This position collaborates closely with technical teams, program leadership, data/AI teams, and public health stakeholders to ensure training is accurate, accessible, and aligned with mission objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver AI training curricula, workshops, job aids, and reference materials supporting AI/ML, data engineering and analytics workflows
  • Conduct needs assessments, stakeholder interviews, and task analyses to identify training gaps and define user focused learning outcomes
  • Create instructor led, virtual, and asynchronous training modules
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using surveys, assessments, and performance metrics, aligning with best practices training support framework (e.g., knowledge assessments, feedback loops, compliance reporting)
  • Maintain AI training documentation, version control, and knowledge repositories in accordance with program standards
  • Partner with technical engineering teams to convert complex workflows into clear, usable training materials for public health practitioners
  • Provide live AI training sessions, facilitate hands on exercises, and support end users via help channels and structured training events
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in AI training development, instructional delivery, professional development, or adult learning environments
  • Experience with developing technical training for data, analytics, AI/ML, or software platforms
  • Experience with designing instructor‑led and virtual training solutions
  • Experience with strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or client‑required suitability determination
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting public health, biomedical, or federal healthcare training initiatives
  • Experience developing scenario based and competency aligned training programs
  • Experience with multimedia content creation tools
  • Knowledge of data governance, compliance, or regulated environments
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, analytics workflows, or vector search system usage
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening

Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
