Heartland Roadshow is seeking a professional, adaptable, and people-focused Operations Training Specialist to join our Training Team in Hoffman Estates, IL. This role plays a critical part in developing new buyers through operational classroom training, field support, and hands-on coaching focused on company standards, processes, professionalism, and customer interaction.
This is a dual-role position that combines both classroom instruction and Field Trainer/Buyer responsibilities throughout the year.
We are looking for someone who thrives in an adult learning environment and can effectively teach, coach, and connect with individuals from many different backgrounds, personalities, and professional experiences across the country.
The ideal candidate is patient, versatile, highly adaptable, and able to pivot quickly while maintaining professionalism and reinforcing company standards consistently.
This position requires a flexible schedule based on operational and training needs. While the typical schedule is Monday through Friday during standard business hours, extended days and occasional schedule adjustments may be required. Due to the dynamic nature of the role and field support responsibilities, candidates should be comfortable adapting to varying schedules, including potential Tuesday–Saturday coverage when needed.
Some light travel throughout the year may be required while supporting Field Training initiatives and operational needs

Lead engaging classroom training sessions for new buyers and team members
Teach company processes, procedures, operational standards, safeguards, and professionalism expectations
Deliver training through demonstrations, roleplay scenarios, practical exercises, and guided operational instruction
Reinforce company policies, documentation standards, and compliance procedures
Adapt training methods to a wide variety of adult learning styles and professional backgrounds
Evaluate trainee progress through observation, assessments, and coaching feedback
Collaborate with leadership to update training materials and operational content as processes evolve
Maintain a positive, professional, and approachable classroom environment

Minimum 2 years of adult classroom instruction, corporate training, or professional operational coaching experience required
Strong background in adult learning and professional development
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong people-driven background with the ability to connect with diverse personalities and learning styles
Ability to pivot quickly and adapt in a fast-paced operational environment
Strong professionalism, organization, and attention to detail
Ability to accept direction, implement operational updates, and consistently reinforce company standards
Previous experience in sales, operations, retail leadership, training, field leadership, or customer-facing environments preferred
Willingness to support both classroom and field operational responsibilities throughout the year
