About the Position
Potential candidate will be responsible for conducting new supervisory training on the time and attendance system (METS), Performance Review Assessments (PRAs), leave approval, recruitment process, appointments, personnel data changes, and separations. In addition, supervisory training will also be conducted on the various leave programs (FMLA, LWOP, parental leave, military leave, etc.), compliance issues, and best practices for hiring. The candidate will provide support in establishing a Leadership Development Program, developing new employee agency training and conducting various other topics, i.e., ethics, conflict resolutions, customer service etiquette, etc. All candidates must have a drivers license and pass an extensive background check.
What youll need to be Successful
Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of adult learning principles. Knowledge of distance learning techniques and practices. General knowledge of human resources disciplines. Demonstrated knowledge of virtual training programs/platforms, i.e., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Talent Management Systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience. Agency preferred qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited 4-year college or university and at least four (4) years of experience providing instruction to adults in an academic or workplace environment.

Paid Personal Leave and Sick Leave
Full-time employees receive paid time off for personal needs and for sick leave. Leave begins accruing after one month of employment and may be used as it is accrued. Employees earn approximately 18 days of personal leave annually and 12 days of sick leave annually.
Military Leave
In accordance with federal law, all employees serving in the armed forces or the military reserves are entitled to 15 days per year for military training.
