## LocationRemote / Hybrid (Flexible Scheduling Available) ## Employment TypePart-Time | Contract | Consulting Opportunities Available ## About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Training Specialist, School Culture & Climate to design and facilitate a comprehensive 15-week professional development program focused on building positive, inclusive, and thriving school communities.This role is ideal for experienced educational leaders who have successfully led school culture improvement initiatives and are skilled in training, coaching, organizational development, and change management. The selected candidate will support school leaders, teachers, counselors, and support staff in developing actionable strategies that strengthen school climate, improve stakeholder engagement, and foster environments where all students and staff feel valued and supported. ## Key Responsibilities### Course Design & Facilitation * Design and deliver a 15-week professional development course (3 instructional hours per week). * Develop engaging curriculum covering: * School culture foundations * School climate assessment tools * Culture improvement strategies * Stakeholder engagement * Conflict resolution * Change management * Create practical action-planning frameworks, assessment instruments, and case studies from diverse school settings. * Facilitate interactive workshops focused on inclusive practices, community engagement, and systemic improvement. * Coordinate guest speakers and subject matter experts in school culture, organizational development, and educational leadership.### Coaching & Participant Support * Conduct up to 10 individual coaching sessions with participants throughout the course. * Provide personalized feedback on school culture assessments, action plans, reflections, and implementation projects. * Guide participants in evaluating school climate data and developing evidence-based improvement strategies. * Hold office hours and provide ongoing support during course delivery.### Assessment & Program Evaluation * Design formative and summative assessments to measure participant growth and implementation outcomes. * Collaborate with program staff to establish grading rubrics and evaluation standards. * Analyze participant feedback and program outcomes to improve future course offerings. * Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of school culture improvement initiatives. ## Required Qualifications * Master's degree in Organizational Development, Educational Leadership, School Psychology, Education Administration, Counseling, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in a school or district leadership role such as: * Principal * Assistant Principal * School Psychologist * School Counselor * Educational Coordinator * District Administrator * Demonstrated expertise in: * School culture and climate improvement * Stakeholder engagement * Organizational development * Change management * Professional development facilitation * Strong instructional design, presentation, and coaching skills. * Experience working with diverse school communities and educational stakeholders. ## Preferred Qualifications * Background in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI), Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), or restorative practices. * Experience using school climate assessment tools such as Panorama, SchoolSHAPE, or similar platforms. * Coaching or mentoring experience with school leadership teams. * Knowledge of data-driven decision-making, program evaluation, and continuous improvement processes. ## Schedule & Workload * Approximately 810 hours per week during course delivery: * 3 hours instruction * 23 hours coaching * 23 hours preparation and office hours * 12 hours assessment review * Course duration: 15 weeks per cohort. * Up to two cohorts annually. * Flexible scheduli
