The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Training Coordinator for a prominent client of ours.  This position is in Itasca, IL 60143 Details for the position are as follows:

Training Coordinator
Location: Itasca, IL 60143
Schedule: Fully Onsite, Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week

Pay Rate: $28 - $30/hour

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Training Coordinator to support daily Learning Management System (LMS) operations and training administration activities within a regulated environment. This role will primarily focus on processing training transactions, responding to training-related inquiries, maintaining training records, and supporting end users within the LMS.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hands-on LMS administration, document control, quality systems, training records, or compliance coordination experience. Candidates with experience processing transactions within systems such as SmartSolve, ComplianceWire, MasterControl, TrackWise, Veeva, Cornerstone, SuccessFactors LMS, Saba, SumTotal, or similar platforms are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process training transactions within the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Assign and maintain training curricula, training plans, certifications, and training records
  • Respond to employee and stakeholder inquiries through the training help desk inbox
  • Manage training assignments, rosters, external training requests, and certification updates
  • Support document control and training compliance activities
  • Collaborate with training, quality, and document management teams to ensure accurate training records
  • Execute testing and provide feedback related to LMS enhancements and system updates
  • Monitor training compliance and assist with record maintenance activities
  • Participate in daily team meetings and cross-functional discussions
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders, including leadership teams

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of experience supporting an LMS, document management system, quality management system, or change management system
  • Experience processing transactions within an LMS or similar regulated system
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite in Itasca, IL five days per week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SmartSolve LMS
  • Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, healthcare, or other regulated industries
  • Experience supporting document control, training records, quality systems, or compliance programs
  • Experience creating or updating training documentation and procedures
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Power BI, or Power Automate
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, Technical Studies, or related field
