Training & Curriculum Specialist
Location:East Hartford, CT

Job Summary

Seeking aTraining & Curriculum Specialistto develop and deliver engaging remote and in-person training programs in a fast-paced call center environment. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), create training materials, support quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate with leadership to enhance employee performance and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led remote and classroom training programs.
  • Create and maintain training manuals, curriculum, process documentation, and operational guides.
  • Conduct onboarding, refresher, and remedial training based on QA performance.
  • Monitor trainee progress through assessments, evaluations, and performance reporting.
  • Update training content to reflect process changes and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with managers and supervisors to improve employee performance and service quality.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across operational processes.
  • Facilitate meetings with internal teams and clients to resolve process and policy issues.
  • Ensure training programs meet instructional design standards and contractual requirements.
  • Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain policy and procedure documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience designing and delivering both remote and in-person training programs.
  • Strong background in curriculum development, instructional design, and training evaluation.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online training platforms.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Public sector or government healthcare (Medicaid/CHIP) experience is a plus.
