Join us and build a career that matters!Position Overview:KODA Technologies is seeking a skilled Trajectory Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Targets and Countermeasures Engineering Directorates. In this role, you will provide critical engineering expertise to the team responsible for pre-mission trajectory validation and performance analysis for flight test events, along with on-site support during flight events.Key Responsibilities:Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Targets and Countermeasures (TC) program office with development of ballistic missile target vehiclesSupport the TC System Engineering team in all aspects of target design, analysis, and test, to include requirements development and assessment, modeling and simulation, test analysis and reportingTechnical focus areas include modeling and simulation, trajectory development and analysis, coordinate system transformations, and vehicle performance assessmentsGenerate and analyze target vehicle 6DOF trajectory dataSupport mission planning, analysis, and reporting activitiesCollaborate with a dynamic team of experts in multiple technical areas to develop analysis and engineering toolsEngage in database requirements definition, schema development, interface development, testing, data management, and documentationUtilize knowledge, skills, and experience with missile characteristics (physical, kinematics, signatures) and engineering to support engineering activities and data product developmentRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in STEM with 3+ years of relevant experienceProficiency with MATLAB, Python, Java, C#, and other programming languagesStrong oral and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with MDA and/or DoD programs and processesExperience with trajectory development tools (e.g., TAOS, POST)Experience in any or all of the following disciplines: Design, CAD, Trajectory, Radar Cross Section (RCS) Signatures, Optical SignaturesStrong attention to detail and ability to efficiently perform multiple tasksAbility to communicate detailed technical information to technical and non-technical personnelClearance: U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret Clearance is requiredKODA Technologies Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, status as a parent, national origin, disability (physical or mental), family medical history or genetic information, political affiliation, military service, or other non-merit based factors.
