A leading professional services firm, investment bank, or advisory practice may seek a Transaction Advisory Analyst to support clients throughout the transaction lifecycle. These roles are well-suited for candidates interested in deal execution, financial diligence, and analytical support for M&A and capital transactions.
Perform financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions
Analyze historical and projected financial statements, including quality of earnings and working capital trends
Build and maintain transaction-focused financial models and supporting analyses
Conduct industry, company, and market research to support transaction decisions
Assist with preparation of due diligence reports, investment memoranda, and client presentations
Support live M&A, restructuring, and capital markets engagements
Collaborate with senior advisors, clients, and external stakeholders throughout deal execution
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
Strong skills in financial analysis, modeling, and accounting fundamentals
Solid understanding of financial statements and transaction processes
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or full-time experience in transaction advisory, investment banking, audit, consulting, private equity, or FP&A is a plus
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools
