Transaction Advisory Analysts in venture capital support investment teams by focusing on the financial, operational, and structural aspects of venture transactions. The role sits at the intersection of deal execution and investment analysis, supporting diligence, modeling, and investment committee preparation across early- and growth-stage deals.
Analysts work closely with partners, founders, legal advisors, and finance teams to evaluate risk, validate assumptions, and ensure high-quality investment decision-making.
Support transaction due diligence, including financial analysis, unit economics, and capitalization structures
Build and review financial models, scenario analyses, and investment return profiles
Analyze historical and projected financials to assess sustainability and scalability
Assist with investment memoranda and materials for investment committee review
Evaluate deal terms, valuation mechanics, and ownership outcomes
Track deal pipelines and support transaction execution workflows
Coordinate with external advisors (legal, accounting, diligence providers)
Monitor post-investment performance and help track portfolio KPIs
Support LP reporting and internal transaction documentation
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related analytical discipline
Strong interest in venture capital, private markets, and transaction execution
Experience in transaction advisory, investment banking, consulting, accounting, or venture internships is helpful
Solid financial modeling and analytical skills
High attention to detail and comfort working with complex financial data
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, process-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple deals simultaneously
