As a Transaction Advisory Manager at Initio Capital, you will lead critical transaction advisory engagements and provide high-level strategic guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and other complex financial transactions. You will oversee due diligence processes, assist with transaction structuring, and ensure that clients receive actionable insights based on comprehensive financial and operational analyses. You will also play an integral role in advising senior management and other key stakeholders on the strategic and financial implications of transactions.
This role requires an individual with a strong background in transaction advisory, corporate finance, and financial modeling, coupled with leadership skills to guide and mentor junior team members.
Lead Transaction Advisory Engagements: Oversee and manage the execution of M&A, divestiture, restructuring, and other strategic transactions. Guide clients and internal stakeholders through the entire process, from initial assessment to post-transaction integration.
Strategic Transaction Support: Provide in-depth strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring opportunities, ensuring alignment with client goals.
Financial Modeling and Valuation: Lead the creation of financial models, valuation assessments, and financial forecasts to evaluate deal structures and assess their impact on clients.
Due Diligence Management: Supervise comprehensive due diligence efforts, ensuring thorough risk assessments across financial, operational, legal, and market-related areas.
Transaction Structuring: Advise on optimal transaction structuring, including terms, pricing, financing, and risk management strategies to maximize value for clients.
Client Relationship Management: Maintain close relationships with clients, providing strategic insights and ensuring alignment on key deal terms.
Leadership and Team Development: Supervise and mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on financial analysis, modeling techniques, and transaction-related processes.
Post-Transaction Integration Support: Collaborate with clients to facilitate post-transaction integration efforts, ensuring the smooth realization of value creation from the deal.
Market and Industry Expertise: Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and evolving industry dynamics, providing clients with timely insights to guide their strategic decisions.
Risk Management and Mitigation: Identify potential risks related to transactions and develop strategies to mitigate those risks while maximizing the potential for value creation.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in transaction advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and financial modeling.
Proven leadership experience managing transaction advisory projects and overseeing junior team members.
Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring.
In-depth understanding of due diligence processes, with the ability to assess key risks and opportunities within the context of corporate transactions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial and strategic ideas clearly to senior management and clients.
Client-facing experience, with a track record of advising senior stakeholders on key transactions.
Experience in post-transaction integration, helping clients realize strategic value and operational synergies.
Project management expertise, including the ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously and meet client deadlines.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, making quick decisions and managing client expectations effectively.
