Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Transaction Analysis Associates.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors and are activated through our certification, verification, and approval process.
Once approved, Transaction Analysis Associates:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Work directly on live private market transactions
Support deal teams, investors, and operators throughout the transaction lifecycle
Contribute to underwriting, diligence, and execution support
Build a verified transaction track record and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Transaction Analysis Associate · Lead Transaction Analysis Associate · Transaction Analysis Associate
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of hands-on deal execution experience.
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience supporting transaction execution, underwriting, and modeling.
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical skills in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction support.
Depending on certification approvals, Transaction Analysis Associates may be engaged for:
3-statement financial models and operating forecasts
DCF and LBO models for acquisition and recapitalization transactions
Commercial real estate underwriting (where applicable)
Sensitivity, scenario, and downside analysis
Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
Football field valuation summaries
Transaction underwriting and assumptions validation
Data room review and financial diligence analytics
Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
Commercial and operational diligence support
Investment committee and transaction memo support
Capital structure and return waterfall analysis
Lender, investor, and sponsor presentation support
Post-close performance tracking and variance analysis
Transaction documentation analytics support
Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment results and demonstrated execution quality—not tenure.
Complete the Transaction Analysis Associate Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence, Transaction Support)
Get verified on the platform
Begin earning immediately through hourly transaction engagements and live deal work
No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively staffed onto live transactions.
To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial or Transaction-Focused Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Each Transaction Analysis Associate receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Visibility to deal teams and transaction sponsors
Approved work categories
Recommended hourly rates
Eligibility for higher-value, execution-heavy assignments
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, performance, or compliance issues
Transaction Analysis Associates do not:
Provide investment advice
Solicit securities
Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or broker-dealer capacity
All work is strictly limited to analytical, diligence, and financial support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
