The Revenue Transaction Coordinator is responsible for supporting the revenue accounting function by preparing and processing real estate transaction documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the completeness of closing files. This position involves frequent communication with internal offices and contributes to the overall accuracy and efficiency of revenue-related processes. Responsibilities include document review, data maintenance, and workflow management, with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, and confidentiality.

The hourly range for this role is $25.50 - $28.85 per hour. Actual pay will be determined by factors such as education, experience, and job-related skills relevant to the role. Marcus & Millichap is a multi-state employer and posted salary ranges are provided in good faith for compliance with all relevant pay-transparency regulations. Responsibilities:

  • Review closing documents from our offices for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Correspond with Office Managers regarding accounts receivable issues including deductions, credits, etc.
  • Be an integral team member on various projects and accounting system

design improvements.

  • Prepare Journal entries and assist in the month end close process.
  • Monitor receivable balances and perform commission deductions.
  • Complete bi-weekly (twice a week) commission payment runs
  • This role is a hybrid schedule.

May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience in daily processing or administrative support roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Customer service-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated understanding of real estate closing documents is preferred.
