Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Transaction Diligence Specialists.
This is not a traditional employment role. Specialists operate as independent contractors and are activated through our certification and verification process.
Once approved, Transaction Diligence Specialists:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Gain access to active transactions requiring in-depth diligence support
Support investors, private equity firms, sponsors, lenders, and operators during live deal execution
Conduct structured financial, operational, and risk diligence
Build a verified transaction diligence track record and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Transaction Diligence Specialist · Lead Transaction Diligence Specialist · Transaction Diligence Specialist
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former investment banking, private equity, private credit, Big 4 Financial Due Diligence (FDD), transaction advisory, or senior corporate development professionals with 5+ years of execution-stage diligence experience.
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of financial diligence, modeling, or transaction advisory experience.
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level professionals with strong financial statement analysis and transaction support experience.
Depending on your certification approvals, Transaction Diligence Specialists may be engaged for:
Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
Revenue and EBITDA normalization
Working capital and cash flow analysis
Debt and capital structure review
Financial risk identification and red flag reporting
Historical performance validation
Unit economics and margin analysis
Customer concentration and churn analysis
Vendor and cost structure review
Market and competitive landscape validation
Operational performance benchmarking
Data room review and organization
Diligence summary report preparation
Investment committee materials and risk summaries
Sensitivity, downside, and break-even analysis
Coordination with third-party advisors (legal, tax, accounting)
Specialists may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.
Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Financial Diligence, Operational Review, Risk Analysis)
Get verified on the platform
Begin earning income immediately through hourly diligence mandates and live transaction work
No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified specialists are actively matched with live deal teams and capital providers.
To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Each Transaction Diligence Specialist receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Platform visibility
Approved diligence categories
Recommended hourly rates
Eligibility for complex and higher-value transactions
Specialists are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
Specialists may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, performance, or compliance issues
Transaction Diligence Specialists do not:
Provide investment advice
Solicit securities
Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
All work is limited to analytical, investigative, diligence, and transaction support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
