 Transaction Processor Associate II

 Location: Connecticut
 Pay Rate:$20.22 per hour
 Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary
 Schedule: Monday through Friday, with overtime, evenings, and occasional weekends as needed.

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Transaction Processor Associate II to join a fast-paced production team. In this role, you will research, analyze, and process consumer information while maintaining exceptional accuracy, productivity, and quality standards. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a structured environment, enjoy working with data, and take pride in producing accurate work.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process transaction and case maintenance requests accurately while following established procedures.
  • Evaluate medical expenses and determine eligibility for medical programs.
  • Enter and update consumer information within eligibility determination systems.
  • Research and analyze information to ensure accurate case processing.
  • Communicate with clients through written and verbal correspondence.
  • Meet or exceed daily productivity and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with project guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Learn and utilize multiple computer systems and software applications.
  • Complete assigned work within required deadlines.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and dependability.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Typing speed of at least 40 WPM (must be listed on your resume).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong data entry and computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently after training.
  • Professional communication skills.

 

Preferred

  • College degree.
  • Experience with eligibility determination.
  • Transaction processing or claims processing experience.
  • Administrative or healthcare support experience.

 

Work Environment

  • Office-based position.
  • Fast-paced production environment.
  • Must be able to maintain productivity and quality standards.
  • Overtime, evening, and occasional weekend work may be required.
