Compensation:
$200–$500/hour or transaction-based earnings, depending on scope, deal size, and advisory engagement
Initio Sphere is a private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We connect fund managers, investors, operators, and analysts through real deal flow, institutional frameworks, and curated relationships.
Transaction Strategy Mentors are a key tier of our ecosystem—providing high-touch guidance on deal strategy, transaction structuring, and execution decision-making to sponsors, funds, and investors while benefiting from earning opportunities and enhanced credibility across the network.
Initio Sphere is onboarding Transaction Strategy Mentors to provide strategic, execution-focused guidance across the transaction lifecycle—from deal framing to closing strategy.
This is not a traditional employment role. Mentors operate as independent contractors and are activated through a verification and approval process.
Once approved, Mentors:
Advise on transaction strategy, deal structuring, and execution planning
Guide sponsors and funds on diligence strategy, negotiation posture, and risk allocation
Mentor analysts and deal scouts on transaction judgment, IC readiness, and execution mechanics
Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure
Build a verified Mentor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem
This role is ideal for professionals with deep experience closing complex transactions who can translate execution expertise into strategic mentorship.
Approved Transaction Strategy Mentors may:
Advise fund managers and sponsors on transaction strategy, timing, and structuring alternatives
Support diligence planning, risk assessment, and negotiation strategy across deals
Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling logic, diligence execution, and IC presentation
Provide guidance on portfolio transactions, restructurings, or exit strategy development
Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or strategic co-investors
Mentors focus on high-level transaction strategy, execution oversight, and mentorship, rather than day-to-day deal administration or full-build modeling unless specifically approved.
