Transaction Support Analysts assist deal teams throughout the transaction lifecycle, providing analytical, operational, and coordination support from initial evaluation through closing. The role blends financial analysis, documentation support, and cross-team collaboration to ensure transactions are executed efficiently and accurately.
These roles often involve close collaboration with investment professionals, corporate development teams, legal counsel, accounting advisors, and external counterparties.
Support transaction execution across mergers, acquisitions, financings, and strategic investments
Build and review financial analyses and models to evaluate transaction economics and impacts
Assist with due diligence processes, including data room management and information analysis
Prepare transaction materials such as presentations, summaries, and investment or deal memos
Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to track deliverables and timelines
Support valuation analysis, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis
Assist with transaction documentation, approvals, and closing logistics
Monitor transaction progress and help resolve execution or data issues
Prepare post-transaction reporting and analysis as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
Strong understanding of corporate finance, valuation, and transaction processes
Experience or coursework in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory (preferred)
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial databases or modeling tools is a plus
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a deadline-driven environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
