This is an excellent opportunity for a strong transactional attorney who is interested in stepping into a meaningful role managing active client matters while positioning themselves to eventually lead and expand the firm's real estate practice.The firm has an established client base and a steady pipeline of sophisticated real estate work. The incoming associate will work closely with firm leadership and play a key role in handling transactions, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the long-term growth of the practice.ResponsibilitiesManage a broad range of commercial real estate transactions from inception through closingDraft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, and related transactional materialsHandle due diligence, title and survey review, and closing coordinationServe as a primary contact for existing real estate clients and manage ongoing mattersWork closely with firm leadership to support the continued expansion of the real estate practiceQualificationsApproximately 5+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience at a law firmStrong experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing transactionsAbility to independently manage deals and maintain strong client relationshipsEntrepreneurial mindset with an interest in helping grow and eventually lead a practice groupConnecticut bar admission preferred or the ability to obtain admissionThis role offers a clear path for a senior associate seeking greater responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to grow into a leadership position within a real estate practice.
