  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, easements, operating agreements, and other real estate documents.
  • Conduct due diligence, including reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning matters, and related property documentation.
  • Identify title, survey, and closing issues and develop practical solutions to facilitate successful transactions.
  • Manage multi‑site acquisitions, leasing, and dispositions involving retail, franchise, and commercial property portfolios.
  • Structure and support sale‑leaseback transactions and 1031 exchanges.
  • Coordinate with corporate attorneys, lenders, title companies, surveyors, and outside consultants throughout the transaction process.
  • Support commercial development projects and related real estate matters.
  • Build trusted client relationships while managing multiple sophisticated transactions simultaneously.

  • 4–8+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
  • Significant experience drafting and negotiating commercial real estate agreements.
  • Strong background handling acquisitions, leasing, dispositions, and due diligence.
  • Experience reviewing title commitments, surveys, and closing documentation.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Licensed in Minnesota or eligible for admission.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple complex transactions.

Preferred:

  • Experience with sale‑leaseback transactions and 1031 exchanges.
  • Exposure to commercial real estate finance, environmental due diligence, or land use matters.
