    Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

    Location: This is an on-site role based in the Augusta, GA area, offering the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, clients, and a highly collaborative legal support team.

    Note: Candidates must have 3+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience, preferably with transactional law, contracts, corporate, real estate, or similar legal work.

    Job Description

    • Assist attorneys with transactional legal work, including preparing, proofreading, organizing, and revising legal documents and correspondence.
    • Review contracts, agreements, and related legal documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
    • Communicate with clients professionally, including scheduling meetings, responding to inquiries, and maintaining strong client service.
    • Organize and maintain digital and physical files to ensure documents are accurate, accessible, and up to date.
    • Track deadlines and assist with documentation needed for filings, closings, and other legal procedures.
    • Conduct research and gather information to support attorney legal work and client matters.
    • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to keep matters moving efficiently.
    • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
    • Transactional law experience is strongly preferred.
    • Experience with contracts, agreements, corporate law, real estate, estate planning, finance, or commercial legal work is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client needs in a professional law firm environment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort working with legal documents, files, and research tools.
    • Professional, dependable, and client-service oriented.
