Position SummaryA prominent Baltimore law firm is seeking an experienced Transactional Paralegal to join its Real Estate and Transactional Finance Practice. This position provides direct support to attorneys handling complex commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, development, and business transactions.The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesCommercial Real Estate TransactionsAssist attorneys with commercial real estate acquisitions, sales, leasing, and development matters.Coordinate due diligence review and manage transaction checklists.Review and summarize title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and environmental reports.Prepare title and survey objection letters.Order and review lien searches, UCC searches, and corporate status reports.Coordinate closings and maintain closing schedules and timelines.Prepare closing binders and organize transaction documents.Communicate with title companies, lenders, borrowers, brokers, surveyors, and opposing counsel throughout transactions.Transactional Finance MattersAssist with commercial lending and secured financing transactions.Prepare loan closing documents and maintain closing checklists.Review organizational documents and prepare entity certifications.Coordinate UCC filings and post‑closing requirements.Assist with preparation and filing of financing statements and related documents.Manage post‑closing deliverables and document organization.Corporate & Administrative SupportDraft correspondence and routine transactional documents.Organize and maintain electronic and physical transaction files.Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of transaction requirements.Assist with entity formations, qualifications, and corporate maintenance filings.Conduct legal and public records research as needed.Support attorneys with special projects and client matters.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of transactional paralegal experience in a law firm, title company, financial institution, or corporate legal department.Significant experience supporting commercial real estate and financing transactions.Strong understanding of title, survey, due diligence, and closing processes.Experience reviewing title commitments, UCC searches, and corporate records.Knowledge of commercial lending and secured transactions preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys, clients, and outside parties.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.Experience with commercial real estate development projects.Familiarity with Maryland real estate and corporate filing requirements.Experience with document management and transaction management software.ScheduleMonday – FridayFull-Time | Hybrid Schedule AvailableThis is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned transactional paralegal seeking sophisticated commercial real estate and finance work within a highly respected legal practice.#J-18808-Ljbffr
